RACHAEL
owner / stylist

I was the kid in school whose report card said "talks too much, but is a joy to have in class". Since I was a small child, I was fascinated with styling hair and playing makeup, always practicing on my friends. In 7th grade, I did my first haircut in the bathroom at school.

I attended Bellingham Beauty School my junior year in high school as part of the running start program, and graduated from Sedro-Woolley High and beauty school both in 1999. In 2001, I attended the Antoine du Chez academy with the world renowned hairstylist Philip Wilson. In 2012, I was able to attend the Sam Brocato Academy in NYC - taught by the talented Sam Brocato. I also had the honor of working as an educator for the Brocato Company. I expanded my skillset and became lash extension certified in 2015, and am excited to also be Habit hair extensions certified.

I highly value education and goal setting. I like to push myself and surround myself with people who encourage growth. I truly love my business, my clients, and my salon family. I am still the "one who talks too much" but it's one of my favorite things about being a hairstylist. I absolutely love being in the salon; getting to know my clients as friends and being there for milestones. I am thankful for this every day.

My motivation in life is to make you feel beautiful inside and out, whatever that means for you. If you want rainbow hair, let’s do it! My start as a hairstylist was not typical, although my barbies would probably beg to differ with the mangled haircuts they received when I was a child. 

I didn’t grow up wanting to do hair and makeup. I began my career path in psychology and after I graduated from college, I decided I wanted to pursue a creative outlet. I graduated beauty school in 2014 and have been doing hair ever since. I love transformation and the idea that your confidence can increase with just a simple change like a haircut or color. I love what makes you, you!

PEYTON

​As a 2nd generation stylist, I have spent a lot of time in the salon, which became like a second home to me. Ever since I was kid, I loved braiding my friends’ hair and hanging out with my mom while she worked. I realized in high school, that I too, wanted to be a stylist. I worked hard to get to my goal as quickly as possible. I participated in the Running Start program in my junior and senior year of high school and graduted high school and the Everett Community College School of Cosmetology in the same year. I love the creativity and artistry of coloring, cutting and styling hair. 

Outside of the salon, I enjoy playing and listening to music, spending time with my family and dogs, and being outdoors. Some of my favorite things about my job is that I get to listen to music all day while dong what I love. Also, being able to help clients to feel beautiful and good about themselves on the inside, and outside.

DIANE

​When I moved to Seattle from Savannah in 2007, I decided to do something new and exciting with my work. I enrolled in Gene Juarez Academy, and I’ve been working with hair ever since. I love working with clients to create a look that works for their individual lifestyles.

​I enjoy working with all types of hair! I specialize in lived-in looks, fine hair, razor cuts and multidimensional color. Staying current on trends by constantly continuing my education is important to me. I love education so much that I became an educator for Keune Hair Cosmetics in 2023.  My top priority is to make you look and feel your best! Please request a consultation if you are a new client.

​I've always enjoyed the aesthetics of art and being creative. My interest in hair sparked when I was younger. Every time my mom took me to a nice salon for haircuts, I found it to be a fascinating experience, from the smell of the shampoo, to the feeling of fresh-cut healthy hair. 

In 2009, I graduated beauty school at Northwest Hair Academy. While working at my first salon, I expanded my training with L'Oréal educators and found that I loved to do balayage. Since then, I've discovered my passion for vivid colors, whether it be rainbow, or other creative color placements. I enjoy the personal relationships I have with my clients, and strive to create an emotionally safe space for everyone. My goal is to make you look and feel your best every time you leave the salon, in a hairstyle that suits your lifestyle.​

TRACY S.
cosmetologist

​My name is Tracy, a longtime beauty services lover, with over 18 years in the industry in hair and skincare. I’ve taught esthetics at the AVEDA institute and am an educator at the EvCC cosmetology program.
​For the past 9 years, I’ve been perfecting my skills as an esthetician. I LOVE solving my client’s skin insecurities, from acne to anti-aging. My favorite part of the facial process, is hearing the “big sigh” of my clients, as they fully relax into their service. 

When I’m not working, you can find me at the ice rink, or in my garden. I’m a total foodie; Asian cuisine —especially dim sum and Thai— are my favorite foods to enjoy.
